Flower - A Bird With Passion

By- Sharon Supriya Once upon time there lived a man in a village with a pet bird called 'Flower'. A unique in its kind, even its name. The villagers wondered why the bird was called Flower by its master, until they noticed its unique habit. Flower daily flew to the unexplored land in the woods and bought her master the world's most beautiful flower. It's sweet fragrance lit up the village with happy smiles. The master was very proud of her and loved her more than any other pet birds he owned. He understood the pet's every need and respected her passion, to explore the unexplored world. Although it was just a pet, he gave her freedom to do what it wants to do and more than anything else trusted her, that even, if it leaves the masters abode everyday it will surely return to nestle in the master's nest. Rain Dancing

I love dancing in the rain with my arms wide open to catch the soft showers. As they kiss my tender skin, with a warmth of love, it creeps me into the world of romance, with the nature. The blissful smell of the wet earth, the soft and cold wind seems to breathe in life again to the dry land and to my darkened soul. Such is the magic of monsoon. Before I realized their bodies were taken away, I was dropped in an unknown land to search for them. I cried, I wailed, I dug the sand, I bet my chest, I screamed aloud…. But they were gone… to a mysterious land. I had lost them without any trails. Where did they go… where should I search them… could anyone help… have I lost all the warmth they bestowed on me at the very sight? Where do I search for them? Can anybody help? Please help me find my beloveds. That’s a nightmare that makes me wail even at the thought of it. But it made me realize that I have to bid my beloveds good bye one day. I like it or not. But I am not such a being that can leave past relationship behind and move on. It’s just not possible. Death is an unsolved mystery, but I wish I could solve it to get back to the ones I have lost. What’s more tragic is that my be...
