Reflecting Love Beyond Time

When my niece, held my finger to keep her baby steps forward, she did a couple of things, grip my finger firm, stand on her own, balance, take one step at a time and once she sees an onlooker seeing her with awe, chuckle a joy of laughter. And while I was helping her out, I bent a little so that her hands are comfortably lift and she doesn't feel the pain. I didn't hold her hand at first, I let her take a complete hold of my finger and then clasped her hand gently. Ju st in case if she leaves my finger to pick a leaf and looses her balance am right there to hold her before she hurts herself. I walked at her speed. I smiled when she smiled. I often turned around to people who saw us walking and said she is doing so great. And when it was done, held her on my lap, gave a high five and said, "am so proud of you my baby!!" Now when I compare this to my relation with my parents, for my every new step of my life.. Its just the same. I look up to them to start ...
